Since the 1st of the month there are more buyers at open houses and more properties have been going under agreement. Lower rates are helping (5.875%, 30 year fixed) and folks are saying that they ready to move feeling that prices have stabilized. Inventory in Arlington has fallen over the last several months making buyers choices fewer.

Are you starting to see home owners become more willing to sell as a result of the rush? I know a lot of owners that want to sell, but have not listed their homes because of the state of the market. Just curious.
HI Tim, Sorry for the short reply (life gets busy) The holiday season poses challenges due to the business of the season. While fewer properties have come on this month more buyers are actively making offers on the houses that are currently on the market. In the past 2 weeks we have had 14 sales which is on pace for a sale a day (that will slow down as we get closer to xmas) All of this activity now should mean a busy January!
